Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Association Manager to join our team and play a key role in fostering the growth and success of our member breweries. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the craft brewing industry, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities: 1. Membership Management: - Manage the onboarding of new members and maintain accurate membership records. - Develop and implement strategies to enhance member engagement and retention. - Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries and concerns. 2. Event Coordination: - Plan and execute events, including conferences, workshops, and social gatherings, to facilitate networking and collaboration among members. - Coordinate logistics, sponsorships, and promotional activities for events. 3. Advocacy and Government Relations: - Stay informed about relevant legislative and regulatory developments impacting the craft brewing industry. - Work with local and state officials to advocate for policies that support the interests of our member breweries. 4. Communication and Marketing: - Develop and implement communication strategies to keep members informed about industry news, events, and opportunities. - Manage the organization's social media presence and website content. 5. Collaboration and Partnership Building: - Cultivate relationships with breweries, industry partners, and sponsors to foster collaboration and mutual support. - Seek out and explore potential partnerships that benefit the South Carolina craft brewing community. 6. Financial Management: - Assist in budget development and financial planning. - Monitor and manage the organization's finances, ensuring responsible use of resources. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in association management, event planning, or a related role. - Knowledge of the craft brewing industry and a passion for supporting local businesses. - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with membership management software is a plus.
