Mental Health

The South Carolina Brewers Guild is committed to assisting its members with their mental wellness and seeks to provide an encouraging  word, a supportive community, and reliable information for use in addressing mental health issues in the brewing industry.

Working in the beer industry might seem like a lot of fun (and most days, it is), but it’s hard. Hours are long, work is demanding, and pay is low. It’s stressful and draining. Especially right now with the future being so uncertain. We’re committed to cultivating a culture and community that reinforces and promotes healthy coping strategies and to encourage and reinforce responsible drinking practices. If you’re having a tough time, then please know that you’re not alone and together, we’re here for you. Remember, it’s ok to not be ok.
