What is the SCBG Conference and Trade Show?
The South Carolina Conference and Trade Show is an annual event that brings together brewers, vendors, and enthusiasts from across the state to build community, learn from each other, and make the craft beer scene in South Carolina stronger. In addition to educational sessions and the Trade Show floor, the annual event also is the site of the SC Beer Cup Awards, the premier award competition for craft beer in the state.
During the Conference portion of the event, we host a variety of speakers, ranging in topics. Historically, our most well-attended sessions tend to cover: legislation and compliance issues, educational seminars (such as our off-flavor workshop), and interactive panel discussions. In the past, we have also seen successful seminars on the following topics. Note: this list is not exhaustive and we are always looking for new and innovative presentations for those attending.
